Spenser’s Legacy Animal Rescue
Spenser's Legacy Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue of lost, abandoned, sick, abused, feral, and stray animals (domestic, farm, or wild) in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area. It was started in the summer of 2006 and now includes approximately 30 cats and kittens, 7 dogs, 2 disabled bunnies, a chicken, and a senior horse.
We want to find permanent, loving homes for the animals that we rescue. Any animal that might be unadoptable will always have a lifetime home here at Spenser's Legacy Animal Rescue.
Our cats are housed in the "Feline Facility." The cats live in suites, not cages. The dogs have a huge area to run and have shelter from the elements whenever they want--they also have lots to bark at! There is plenty of room in the barns for farm animals of all types.
We do not euthanize any animal unless it cannot be saved or is suffering. All animals will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
We do not take animals just because people want to get rid of their pets for various reasons such as because they are moving, they are allergic, because they are tired of them, or for whatever reason they chose to relinquish their animals. There are other organizations that may be able to help such as organizations that help train pets for behavioral problems. Please contact them for information.
