Description:
Two acres of Pierce Park is fenced to enclose the Scout Dog Park where dogs run leash-free across an open field and a wooded hillside in three paddocks. A separate section is provided for small dog breeds. Park benches, a doggie shower and drinking fountain, as well as plenty of parking, are provided at this popular facility.
A canine nature playscape --- tentatively scheduled to open in the Spring of 2017 ---will be added to the third paddock to offer new challenges to the park's four-footed patrons.
Activities: Hiking, picnic shelter, limited facilities and a 2-acre fenced, leash-free dog park.
