Heart of Alabama: Save, Rescue, Adopt
Sadly, North Alabama animal shelters are overwhelmed with animals. Because these animals need so much attention, and because new ones come every day, shelters rely heavily on volunteers. But these volunteers can't do everything alone - they need financial help, they need to raise awareness in the community about our pet population issues, and they need to recruit more animal lovers to become volunteers. That's why HASRA was formed - Heart of Alabama: Save, Rescue, Adopt.
HASRA is committed to continuing our support of North Alabama animal shelters, and to help save as many unwanted animals as possible. With the help of our many cooperating rescues, the animals we save become loving companions for humans all over the country. We value the life of every precious animal who comes to us, and have always made a concentrated effort to save animals that would otherwise have little to no chance of survival without our help.
Because HASRA is a 501c(3) corporation, donations are tax deductible. Won't you be a part of our group, as we work to find homes for North Alabama dogs and cats, and as we work to educate pet owners about the importance of spay and neuter programs to control the population of unwanted animals?
Your time, talent, and treasure would be greatly appreciated - and the rewards are great!
