Humane Society of Pinellas
The Humane Society of Pinellas is the largest No-Kill animal shelter in Pinellas County. Located in Clearwater, Florida, HSP has been caring for the homeless pets in our community since 1949. Our ultimate goal is to create a humane community and end pet homelessness through education, outreach and community services. HSP is committed to assisting pets and their owners through our Affordable Vaccine Clinic, Spay-Neuter Clinic and Pet Food Pantry. HSP is here to help when pet surrender is the only option. Our No Time Limit Policy of adoptable pets offers the opportunity for each pet to have its own 2nd chance success story.
The Humane Society of Pinellas is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been caring for animals and our community since 1949. Not just an adoption agency, the Humane Society of Pinellas provides life-saving care and services to help keep pets and people together.
OUR MISSION
To strengthen the bonds between pets and people by offering an enriching environment for our animals, providing learning opportunities for our community, and matching the right animal to the right forever home.
WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED
We cannot do this alone. Ending pet homelessness is everyone's responsibility. The Humane Society of Pinellas partners with other Tampa Bay area shelters, such as Pinellas County Animal Services, the SPCA of Tampa Bay, Hillsborough Pet Resource Center, and more, to move towards a community in which no animal is euthanized due to lack of space or resources.
We are a transparent shelter, meaning we share what we do with our community. Click here to view our shelter statistics.
The Humane Society of Pinellas collaborates with lawmakers to promote animal-centric regulations that help protect Pinellas County pets.
