The City of Yorba Linda is excited to announce that Checkers Dog Park is now open. This is the first off-leash dog park in Yorba Linda. The Grand Opening was held Monday, June 26. The dog park is located at 5411 Eastside Circle, just east of Jean Woodard Park and south of Eastside Community Park.
The park is just under 1/2 an acre in size with one open area for all size dogs and no separation. The amenities include a drinking fountain for dogs and owners, benches, trash receptacles, a port-a-potty, an ADA parking stall and on street parking.
