Hawai’i Kai Dog Park
The Hawai'i Kai Dog Park was built by Hui 'Ilio Hawai'i and the Honolulu Department of Parks & Recreation through a public-private partnership. It is a public, city dog park owned and operated by the City & County of Honolulu. After the dog park was opened to the public in 2008, Hui Ilio Hawaii continued to support it for another 8 years by recruiting and training park volunteers, financing maintenance and improvement projects such as new water fountains and landscaping, and sponsoring volunteer work days to maintain the park.
