This is a 20,000 square foot dog park where your dog can run and play without a leash in an enclosed area. The dog park has a double gate entrance to ensure safe release of dogs from their leaches. The fence is 5 feet high to prevent dogs from escaping.

The best times to go to the park depends on the season and weather. Weekends are ideal if you would like your dog to play with other dogs. Weekday mornings usually are frequented by just a small number of dogs.

Chapel Hill Dog Park is located at Homestead Park in Chapel Hill, NC. From Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, just turn onto Homestead Road. Immediately past the Duke Power Building, turn onto Northern Park Drive. The Dog Park is easily seen by the fenced in area.
