Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch
Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch is a “never kill” animal sanctuary, and our mission is to rescue every animal that we can. We primarily rescue dogs but our rescues have included, ducks, geese, pigs, turkeys, chickens, cats, horses, goats, wild hogs, turtles, raccoons, and donkeys. On the average we take care of 50 dogs or more at the rescue ranch.
When we rescue dogs they are first taken to one of our veterinarians, and given a full check up, and treated for any ailments. They receive their shots and then spayed or neutered. After a clean bill of health the dogs finally get to come to our rescue ranch.
Our large pens are shaded by beautiful oak and cedar trees and each dog has its own dog house, including listening to piped in music all day.
Our main adoption requirements are a fenced yard and super people. We do not have a standard fee to adopt one of our dogs, but donations are greatly appreciated and needed.
In our adoption contract, one must promise to return the dog to us if they no longer can keep it—no matter what the reason.
If you adopt one of our dogs, you are actually helping another dog, because when one gets adopted—we get to go rescue another to fill its place.
Our rescue ranch is open to the public on Saturdays between ten and four, and you can check out our dogs at:
