Adoption Hours are Monday thru Saturday 10a.m. to 4p.m.
All dogs, cats and ferrets residing in Seminole County are required to obtain a Seminole County Pet License for each animal in the household to be renewed ANNUALLY.
In order to purchase a pet license, your pet must first have a current rabies vaccination certificate registered in your name. Pet licenses expire one year from the date of the rabies vaccination. We strongly advise against obtaining a rabies vaccination more than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of your license. Please be prepared to provide the proof of rabies vaccination when applying for a pet license.
Seminole County Animal Services is making it easier for County residents with disabilities or those residents who are 65 years of age (or older) to adopt pets through "Pet Pals”. Qualifying residents must be present to adopt and license a pet of their choice for a reduced fee of $10, which includes the adoption and license fees, spaying or neutering, required vaccinations and an implanted microchip for identification.
