There’s a very special place right here in Pensacola where the hungry are fed, the homeless are sheltered, and the abandoned are cared for. It’s the Pensacola Humane Society, where our staff and volunteers provide comfort and care for unwanted or abandoned animals in our community.

We operate and maintain a NO KILL shelter and adoption center for homeless animals on private donations and fundraising activities. We receive no city, state or federal government funding. Our staff cares for the abandoned or neglected animals until they go to good homes.

Our Mission: The Pensacola Humane Society is committed to improving the lives of companion animals in our community through advocacy, adoption, education and sanctuary.

The Pensacola Humane Society is an organization comprised of passionate advocates that love animals as much as they love us: unconditionally. We are a unique mix of dreamers, idealists, and optimists grounded in reality and fueled by an overwhelming commitment to the wellbeing and care of all animals within our community.
