Palmetto Animal League
The 5,500 square foot innovative Adoption Center includes living space for 120 dogs and cats. We provide a home-like cageless environment for the animals which is less stressful for the animals and allows for continual human/animal interaction. The communal cat rooms provide cats with elevated cubbies and walkways so they can easily play with each other or volunteers. Dogs have indoor and outdoor play areas and are kenneled at night.
PAL opened its Adoption Center (its first facility) on Oct 30, 2010. In its first year, PAL saved over 500 innocent animals and helped 300 in low-cost clinics.
The Adoption Center is open to the public 12:00-7:00PM Monday-Saturday.
