Orange County Animal Services Pet Rescue & Adoption Center
Orange County Animal Services is a progressive animal-welfare focused organization that enforces the Orange County Code to protect both citizens and animals.
Animal Services welcomes more than 20,000 animals to our shelter each year and receives nearly 65,000 calls annually. We provide service throughout Orange County, including all municipalities. Our Field Operations group responds 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to citizens' calls regarding:
- Animal abuse and neglect
- Loose and nuisance animals
- Injured animals
- Animal bites and attacks
- Abandoned pets

Adoption Hours
- Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
PET ALLIANCE OF GREATER ORLANDO
: Orange County Animal Services and the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando are often confused with one another, as both are animal shelters. Animal Services is the only enforcement agency in Orange County that responds to requests for service from the public regarding violations of the Orange County Code. In addition:
- Orange County Animal Services is a public, open-admission shelter that accepts any domestic animal in need
- The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is a nonprofit organization which accepts only owner-surrendered pets
- Animal Services offers microchipping services for $15
