Hillsborough County's Pet Resources Department enforces animal laws; provides shelter for lost, abused and surrendered pets; unites lost pets with their owners; facilitates animal adoptions; provides low cost spay and neuter services; and provides pet registration and rabies tags.
The Pet Resource Center is open for adoptions Tuesday-Sunday (except on some holidays) from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. For information about turning in stray pets or surrendering a pet, visit .
