Harrison Dog Park
Welcome to the Harrison Dog Park! It began as an idea for an Eagle Scout project by one of Harrison’s residents and with the help of the Supervisor, Town Board, Recreation Department, and the Town Clerk’s Office, it has become “one of the most successful projects in town” according to the late Town Clerk Joseph Acocella, Jr. It is located on Crystal Street near Louis M. Klein Middle School. It is separated into two areas: one permits dogs under 14 inches or 25 pounds, and the other area allows dogs over 14 inches and 25 pounds.
The town recently opened up its membership to non-residents. Spread the word with your fellow animal lovers and invite your friends to join! All dogs are welcomed to our park, so for more information please click on the link to our membership page above.
Dog park members have exclusive use of the park while also benefiting from the park’s e-mail service that pertain to new updates and reminders about the park and dog events in the Town-Village of Harrison. All of these services are overseen by the Office of the Town Clerk.
