This dog park area is managed by the City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, but as an off-leash dog park instead of an open green space. The Old Fourth Ward Freedom Barkway Corporation Board of Directors with neighborhood volunteer support work in conjunction with the COA to ensure that use, maintenance and safety is monitored and remains consistent with the vision of the OFWFBC and the current rules and regulations for park use from the City of Atlanta.
