El Chorro Dog Park
El Chorro Dog Park was created by and is maintained by SLO-4-PUPs, a Project Committee of SLOPOST (San Luis Obispo Open Space and Trails), a charitable, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that encourages volunteers to create and maintain parks, open space and trails in San Luis Obispo County.
SLO-4-PUPs volunteers are completely responsible for building, repairing and the daily upkeep of El Chorro Dog Park, the first fenced off-leash dog park in San Luis Obispo County.
The Park
• 2 fully fenced areas with wood chips, water stations, mutt mitts, doggie splash tubs, plus benches, picnic tables with lots of shade for the humans to enjoy. A Handicapped accessible restroom is next to the park.
• the Large park has 1.3 acre of play space, the Small park is ¼ acre
Hours
El Chorro Dog Park is open 7 days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to sunset.
