Conestee Dog Park
Conestee Dog Park is located at 840 Mauldin Road, Greenville, and is part of the much larger Conestee Park recreational complex. The complex includes 5 baseball fields, playgrounds, ample parking, and is adjacent to the Conestee Nature Preserve with miles of trails and boardwalks for on-leash dog walks.
The off-leash Conestee Dog Park is sectioned into 2 areas, a small dog run which is 14,000 square feet in size, and a large dog run which is over 30,000 square feet in size. Each area includes a double gated entry, naturalized areas, rounded fence corners to reduce canine conflict, benches, shade shelters, and potable running water. The shelters are ADA accessible, the surface areas are mulched, and pet waste stations are available throughout the area.
The Conestee Dog Park was built through a partnership between the City and County of Greenville. It was designed and primarily funded by the City of Greenville, with additional construction funds and ongoing maintenance and management provided by Greenville County. It officially opened October 4, 2014.
