The Cats Meow Rescue is a two year old shelter located in Vero Beach Fl. We are a 501-c3 nonprofit no-kill cat shelter.Meet Barbara Eakins, she took part of her retirement and opened the Cat's Meow Rescue and Adoption Center 2 years ago. Barbara was starting her funding campaign to ask 1000 people to donate $52.00 a year so the shelter can operate. Unfortunately 8 months age due to a medical procedure that went bad and left her legally blind, so she cannot drive anymore. Barbara is the shelters main source of funding thus creating a hardship financially due to her medical bills.
