CARE Feline TNR
We are an all-volunteer organization striving to reduce the population of feral cats through Trap Neuter Return. We help the community by scheduling spay/neuter appointments, loaning humane traps, and providing education. We are not a trapping, rescue, or removal service.
TNR or better known as Trap-Neuter-Return, is the humane and effective approach for managing stray and feral cats in the country and world. Now practiced for decades in the US and abroad, scientific studies show that Trap-Neuter-Return programs improve the lives of feral cats, improves their relationships with the people who livenear them, and decreases the size of colonies over time.
TNR is exactly as it sounds: Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered or spayed and vaccinated. After recovery, the cats are returned to their colony outdoors. Kittens and cats who are friendly and socialized to people may be adopted into homes.
CARE Feline TNR, Inc. 407-522-2617, is a non-profit, 501c3 organization committed to improving the lives of feral and abandoned cats in Central Florida through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).
