Bernard Dog Run
Bernard Dog Run initiative was started in 2008 to found a dog park in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood. It was named for the late Jay Bernard, a Lawrenceville resident, community activist and abandoned dog advocate.
The park opened to the public and their pups on September 9, 2012.
Our mission is to establish a community-based, enclosed off-leash dog park that is well-maintained, safe and enjoyable for well-behaved dogs and people.
Park hours are dawn-dark, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
Please make sure to clean up after your dog and follow all posted rules.
There are bowls on-site, but no water source, so please bring in water for your dogs.
