Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue, Inc
Providing Love, Security, and Dignity to North Florida's Homeless and Neglected Animals
In Northeast and North Central Florida, more than 30,000 animals are euthanized every year. Shelters and animal control facilities are over-crowded with homeless, abandoned and abused animals. And the task of remedying these concerns seems daunting at best.
Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue, Inc., is tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue, Inc. is a St. Augustine-based non-profit supporting , spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with , outreach, adoption and programs, Ayla’s Acres maintains a where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity. We recently launched a $2.6 million dollar capital campaign to raise funds to build in St. Johns County. Ayla’s Acres receives no government funding, relying instead on private donations of money, supplies, and items that are sold through (142 King Street.).
The organization was named for a gentle Great Dane who was surrendered by her family when she was 18 months old, and went to live at an animal sanctuary for the rest of her life. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue plans to acquire this 45-acre sanctuary located in Greenville, FL that is managed by full-time, dedicated and experienced resident caretakers. Many of the 300 animals have come from area humane societies that had no room or the animals were unadoptable.
