Arlington Arkwright Park is home to a nearly 5 acre off-leash dog area that winds through a well-shaded forest and also contains a sizable open area. Users are responsible for providing their own pet waste bags and cleaning up after their pets. Running water is not available at the park. Users are responsible to supply water for their animals. The commons area has picnic tables and benches for users to sit in the shade or visit with other park users. Food is not allowed in the dog park because it can trigger aggressive behaviors between dogs.
