Taking in a pet is a big responsibility. Just like humans, animals must be cared for. Unfortunately, this does not always happen, and the animals are left at overcrowded shelters or to fend for themselves on the street. Relocating animals in need of a good home is the priority of Adopt A Rescued Pet Inc.

Adopt A Rescued Pet, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit organization designated a 501 (c) 3 by the IRS. Adopt A Rescued Pet Inc. was founded in 2004 by a group of experienced volunteers devoted to saving animals in Citrus County. We are an all breed dog no-kill rescue specializing in small to medium size dogs.

Informing and educating the public regarding responsible and compassionate pet ownership is a part of all organizational activities.
