Vero Beach Dog Park
The Vero Beach Dog Park is a nonprofit organization operated by the Friends of the Vero Beach Dog Exercise Area, Inc, a Florida nonprofit organization. We lease a tree lined 5 acre green space from the City of Vero Beach.
We are 100% reliant on the support of our community to provide a clean, safe environment for our furry friends. Money is not only needed for the daily operations and maintenance of the park, but for the improvements we plan to make for the benefit of both dogs and their owners. Plans include water fountains, seating areas, canopies, shade tree landscaping and more.
Volunteer opportunities are available at all levels and for all ages.
The Vero Beach Dog Park is a free public dog park open to the community and their dogs. We provide a clean, safe environment for dogs of all sizes to roam freely in an off-leash 5 acre green space along the Indian River Lagoon.
The Dog Park is conveniently located at 3449 Indian River East, one block north of the Merrill Barber Bridge. Our Dog Park provides two fenced exercise areas for both large and small dogs. All owners are required to mind their dogs at all times in and around the Dog Park area as well as have current vaccinations.
The Dog Park is open 7 days a week, Dawn to Dusk. We welcome all visitors to our park, with and without their dogs.
