The Terrell Animal Adoption Center is taking an all new focus and promoting pet adoption as aggressively as possible. Our goal is to dramatically increase the number of animals we get into good homes. We know we need your help to do this. If you would like to help us or volunteer at our shelter, you can find an application on our city’s webpage or at the center. The Terrell Animal Shelter focuses on getting as many animals out of the shelter as is possible.

We are not a “no kill” facility; however, our daily goal is to limit as much as possible the number of animals we must euthanize in our facility. Rescue, Adoption and Owner Recovery is the foundational principal that drives toward our goal.
