Chances are good that you saw this video pop up in your Facebook feed this weekend. If not, you’ll want to take a minute to watch this special message from Budweiser, posted for Global Be(er) Responsible Day.

“Friends Are Waiting,” which has more than 6 million views on YouTube, shows how much fun a guy and his best pal, a yellow Lab, have together.

Then we see how the loyal, worried dog waits — and waits — for his owner to come home after he goes out drinking with his friends. “For some,” the ad warns, “the waiting never ended.”

Thankfully, the dog’s BFF makes it home the next morning and apologizes to the pooch, telling him he stayed at a friend’s place because he’d had too much to drink and knew he couldn’t drive home safely.

We’re entirely behind Budweiser’s sweet and important message, but we do want to add our own 2 cents on being responsible: Don’t forget about your dog. If there’s a chance you’re going to be out all night, arrange for someone to check on him, just in case. Because he’s waiting for you — and probably worrying a little bit, too.  Content Credit Link

Beginning with a short, yet insanely sweet, video of the chick following it’s mum as she walks through the house, the short continues to follow the pet through various stages of growing up.

Including the best of bath time, the nadir of nap time with ‘best friend’ the cat, and also the cuteness of cuddles at bedtime, it’ll make even hardened hearts melt.

How they got these dogs to sit in a perfectly straight line is fairly amazing. Looks like a fun and “happy” time for these dogs and cats.

Dollwet, whose YouTube channel CATMANTOO has over 26,000 subscribers, decided to make the video while on a “doggie outing” with some of his trainees. Once dogs graduate from his off-leash program, they are allowed to play and frolic at a dog-friendly beach or park with Dollwet’s supervision.

Dellwet’s adopted cat Didga accompanies the dogs on most outings. Unlike most other cats, Didga actually enjoys swimming in the water. She even knows how to skateboard and surf. This video shows Digda in action.

The talented trainer used a GoPro camera to get shots of the group of doggies paddling in the ocean, digging in the sand, and running in the waves. The result is absolutely adorable and completely irresistible. We bet you’ll be smiling by the end of the song.

Sometimes, I have to indulge myself a bit and share my videos or pictures with you. This one is a short video of Jazzy, my male Schipperke, swimming with ducks in St Petersburg, Florida. This little bayou is a wonderful nature preserve park. This unique waterfront park or nature preserve has naval live oaks whose branches curl to the ground and back up again. These branches make a great place for an agile dog to test his, or her climbing abilities. In this case, my little Cinnamon girl has shown her lack of fear of heights.

This makes her daddy proud, but also a little skittish while her fragile little body is at a height in the tree that is taller than my over six foot frame. I hope you enjoy the video and a little piece of nature that we love to enjoy together. It was hot and both dogs took a swim in the water. I only had the camera near Jazzy as he was swimming, so this will have to suffice for now. 🙂

This is a very cute cat and dog friendship story I know you will like and had to share.

Reddit user Akslfak couldn’t have predicted how well these two rescues — one corgi mix and one toothy cat — would get along, but do they ever. Seriously, every pet owner probably dreams of having pets who like each other this much.

The cat has already made the viral rounds for her weirdo smile, signing autographs for charity last summer. But we encourage you to check out Akslfak’s Tumblr, which chronicles the lives of these furry friends, because in that household, “fighting like cats and dogs” takes on a totally new meaning.

Refurb is missing one leg.

According to Akslfak, she was crushed by a horse as a kitten and needed surgery.
But that’s okay, because she’s got her bestie, Tycho.

And an owner who seems pretty awesome.

Or doing whatever this is.

Sometimes Tycho’s just all like, “Hi, let me bite you because I love you.”

Because Refurb gives Tycho a run for his money, despite her lack of leg.

These guys go together like peanut butter and jelly. Like Thelma and Louise. Like Ben and Jerry.

Or, you know, like two animals who really like each other.

Imperial Beach in California was the site of the 2014 Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition. Dog owners brought their pets out to see which ones could ride the waves the most effectively. The dogs were of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Some owners even dressed their pets up like characters such as the Muppets. Report by Claire Mewse.
