Get running to the 3rd annual RescueMe 5K benefitting the American Pit Bull Foundation’s Operation Sidekick and taking place at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. This great program provides rescued service dogs to veterans with PTSD. Besides the great exercise, there will be vendors with lots of food and beer, plus games and more. You and your dog will get some goodies too, your dog gets a souvenir bandana and you will get a t-shirt, beer and souvenir cup. Kicks off at 9 a.m. for runners and walkers.
