Detroit Dog Park
The dog park is at the corner of 17th Street and Rose Street in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood. The park is adjacent to the Michigan Central Station, and about a block south of Michigan Avenue. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The park is free and open to the public. There are no membership fees or key cards needed. The park isn’t big enough to separate it. But we welcome small dogs – many of the ones who come to Dog Party run with the big dogs with no problems. All breeds are welcome, provided their owners are in control of them, and the dog is under voice command. All owners are asked to be communicative with each other and to separate/remove from the park their dog, if needed. This is a shared space.
