Brown County Park and Pet Exercise Area
With Duck Creek flowing through this wooded property, Brown County Park creates a peaceful setting for those seeking a quiet area for picnicking and relaxing. It is home to Brown County's Pet Exercise Area for dogs, with special fenced areas designed for off-leash use. Pet owners may also walk their dogs on-leash through the rest of the park. The Pet Exercise Area is open year-round from 8:00 AM to sunset.
The off-leash fenced area at the Brown County Dog Park has been expanded! The new area is approximately 4 acres in size and includes a small dog portion as well as a large section for big dogs. The fence area access points has changed slightly - but look for the double-gate system right off the north end of the parking lot. The fence material is a 4-foot high welded wire steel fence that is secured close to the ground - so the canine users should be free to run the area without getting out. Many thanks to the Brown County Dog Park Association for their efforts in raising the necessary funds as well as providing the volunteer labor to erect the fence!!!
DAILY PASSES: Dog park users will also have the option of purchasing a $2 Daily Pass right at the park. Daily Passes will allow residents to try out the park prior to purchasing their Annual Permit, and also give visitors to Green Bay a place to let their dogs run for the day without having to purchase an Annual Permit.
