How Not to Greet a Dog
It is important that we show dogs proper respect. And it is especially important to teach young children how to interact with man’s best friend. When greeting a dog for the first time, we make think our behavior is harmless but in actuality, we are stressing the dog out and stressed dogs will bite!
Below is a chart to help us understand what behavior is proper and improper when it comes to introducing yourself to a dog and help your new relationship get off to a good start.
